Managing Director Simplicity (Keen Thinking Ltd). David started his career as a Computer Operator with a finance company. His processing talent was spotted and he was quickly promoted via payroll to Payroll Supervisor. The role was too small for his burgeoning expertise and he left to join a recruitment company running their payroll but also producing all important cash flows, leading to an in depth accounts knowledge. He was soon made Operations Manager.

David’s in depth knowledge of the cash intensive temporary recruitment business needs and his IT skills, resulted in him writing the UK’s first integrated software for a back office and finance company and becoming its Operations Manager. The sale of that company to a major recruitment market player resulted in David striking out on his own. (It is now recruitment legend that his software was the basis for the company later becoming the market leader with that model generating a new business sector in recruitment, one in which he is happily reengaged as he heads up Simplicity – the only such provider in the sector to have won awards for; and have ISO 9001 certification for; the quality management system of its back office processes.)

David provided consultancy services assisting many recruitment companies with IT /Software and hardware installation/Training and in particular became expert for a major bank for the correct installation and use of BACS. He once again joined the corporate world to run a Service Centre for a multi £million t/o agency that had lost its direction because of poor back office. Sorting that out resulted in more than doubling of profits and a board appointment where he found his experience and qualifications in Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) most helpful in focussing a sales driven organisation on the necessity for a sound back office platform to support the sales potential.

A desire to do more drove David to develop quality certified outsourced back office and funding processes combined with recruitment business focussed MIT, allowing small agencies to have management information data that many large ones only dream of. He changed Cash Simply to Simplicity and heads up the business as its Managing Director ensuring thousands of temps get paid right first time, on time, every time and a managing £millions of funding for agencies.
