Lindsey Bell is the Institute of Recruiters (IOR) Legal Expert and Partner at top ranked national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP where she heads up the Manchester employment team.
She is recognised as an employment law expert by the Chambers and Legal 500 directories, is a CEDR accredited mediator, member of the Employment Lawyers Association, a Manchester Law Society Council member and a tribunal user group representative.
Lindsey has worked with the recruitment sector at the highest level for over 10 years, is regularly invited to events as an expert speaker and has been involved with several recruitment industry bodies.
With specialist experience and industry expertise in the law relating to employment businesses and agencies, Lindsey has advised on many areas including the status of temporary workers, terms and conditions of business and engagement and new legislation which impacts on the industry.
As an employment law expert, Lindsey specialises in both contentious and non-contentious matters for PLCs and SMEs in a variety of sectors. Her experience includes providing complicated TUPE advice (including advising on insolvency situations), advising and negotiating on executive terminations and drafting of severance agreements, providing advice in relation to reorganisations and redundancies, advising in relation to the enforceability of restrictive covenants including defending and pursing high court injunctions, defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, drafting and advising on service agreements, contracts of employment and company handbooks and dealing with corporate support work. In addition, Lindsey manages workshops and in-house training.
